http://www.ispeech.org With more and more professionals adopting smartphones as part of their business practice, distracted driving is a growing problem. While texting is not as common as it is among teens, many workers are constantly reading and responding to emails. The Lawyerist blog acknowledges that while ignoring the phone altogether is the safest option, some are simply unable to resist. They recommend the DriveSafe.ly application to read emails aloud, keeping hands and eyes focused on driving. Tags: April 2nd, 2010
http://www.ispeech.org/text.to.speech DriveSafe.ly combats distracted driving and allows users to stay in touch while keeping their eyes on the road. Why is this so important? Is it really that big of a problem? We've seen the Virginia Tech studies in the past along with all the news reports but has there been any update? You bet. All the signs point still point in the right direction, it is time to keep our eyes where they are supposed to be. Why? In 2009, California alone issued 137,056 cellphone citations. Kentucky joins the fight against TWD Shelby Michigan joins a long list of local authorities initiating campaigns to crackdown on distracted driving Not only are you endangering the lives of those around you and your own but with all these laws and campaigns your chances of getting caught are high. Is it really worth it? Tags: February 7th, 2010
http://www.ispeech.org/text.to.speech DriveSafe.ly was spotted once again on the web this time at coolmompicks! Now it's good to see more DriveSafe.ly users but what's even better is to see some of our users switching on the app and using it to solve other practical problems! Have a listen to what one smart mom has to say straight from the blog: "I think DriveSafe.ly isn't just about preventing distracted driving; I think it's perfect for new moms who are busy nursing or find themselves trapped on the couch with a sleeping baby in their arms. Because no matter how much I wanted to see who was emailing me, there is no way I'd have budged an inch to pick up the phone once I finally got the baby down." -ChristinaIf you or anyone you know has applied DriveSafe.ly or iSpeech technology in a new and interesting way make sure you share it right here or on our facebook page! iSpeech For those of us who aren't yet on holiday vacation, we are working hard and
eating well. Today some of us went and got hibachi. It's nice to line up
the tables and sit down in such a big group. Since most people bring their
lunch these days a dozen or so iSpeechers isn't too bad... especially on
Christmas Eve's Eve. Half-day tomorrow!
